Mo Pop Festival 2022 Press Application Terms

Please read before submitting:

Mo Pop Music Festival’s Press Credentials and Photo Passes are very limited. NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE APPROVED. Mo Pop Festival reserves the right to approve or deny any publication or press personnel credentials and may revoke access to the festival and photo pits at any time.

Press Credential applications will close on Friday, June 10, 2022. You will be notified no later than Friday, July 1, 2022 if you have been approved.

Please note: You MUST be on assignment. We will not approve credentials for portfolio photography, personal website/blog photography, college project photography or spec photography.

• Videography equipment (incl. Go-Pros and single-hand held devices), professional audio recording equipment and news trucks are not permitted within the festival grounds at Mo Pop Festival. Please plan your coverage accordingly. If you are seen capturing video of performances or other areas of the festival, your credentials will be immediately revoked. Security personnel will be checking bags and will not allow video equipment onto the festival grounds. The only personnel allowed to capture the video footage at Mo Pop Festival are select partners and Mo Pop's internal media crew.
• Professional cameras are only allowed for Photo Pass holders. Approved press attendees without an approved Photo Pass will NOT be able to bring in a professional camera to capture experiential shots and security personnel will be checking bags and credentials to enforce this.

A Press Credential grants you full weekend access into the festival. A Press Credential does not include a parking pass.. A Photo Pass grants access into the photo pits (at the combined discretion of Mo Pop Festival and the artists). Front of House / Soundboard access will not be granted with a Photo Pass. Please note that a Photo Pass on its own does not grant access to the festival and must be used in conjunction with a Press Credential. A Photo Pass acts as a supplement to a Press Credential, which is your access into the festival.

About Photo Pass Requests

• We have already selected the official Mo Pop Festival photographers and will not be appointing any additional photographers. Please do not apply to be the official photographer of Mo Pop Festival.
• Only photographers with professional cameras such as SLR and lens-interchangeable cameras will be allowed into the photography pits (point-and-shoot cameras, mobile phones will not be permitted).
• Additionally, if you are approved for a Photo Pass, you will be required to sign a waiver and/or a photo release prior to receiving your credential.
• *Due to the large amount of Photo Pass requests, we receive and the limited space in the photo pits, Photo Passes are VERY limited and do not include access to backstage or on-stage areas. If your outlet is approved for a Press Credential, that does NOT mean you will be approved for a Photo Pass as well.
• Freelance writers will typically not be accepted if not on specific assignment. Mo Pop Festival reserves the right to secure a letter from the editor to confirm assignment.
• If you are not credentialed through Mo Pop Festival, you will not have access to the photo pits.
• Photo pit regulations vary from artist to artist and may change before and during the festival. Access may be revoked at any time and is not guaranteed. Photographers will be expected to adhere to all forthcoming photo pit rules and regulations.

Note: Mo Pop's standard protocol (if applicable) is to approve no more than one (1) photographer per outlet. As mentioned above, photography passes are very limited, and we will not be able to grant every outlet a Photo Pass.

All applications are subject to festival approval. Incomplete or incorrect applications will not be considered.
